About Us

My father started working in the Sheep Casings industry over 50 years ago, he moved to Ireland in the early 80’s to make a better life for himself and his future family. 

I was born in the West of Ireland but lived in Co. Wexford most of my life, I remember my first encounter with Sheep Casings was when my father used to put a basket under my feet so I can reach the Salting table and in my early teens before we had machines, I used to pull the Sheep intestines by hand, I have experienced my industry from the raw material to the final product.

I was taught that hard work, good moral values and honesty were the most important traits for a person to posses and this is what is reflected in our business, we do our utmost to make sure our customer is satisfied with our service. 

We established Wexford Casings  with the aim to supply a consistent, good quality, honest and reliable product in order to make the Sausage making process quicker and more efficient for our customers.

We specialize in the selection of Natural Sheep Casings and take pride in the fact that we fully process and control our casings from the Sheep gut to the finished product. 

Although we have a wide range of products, we can also tailor our products to suit your needs and specifications. Whether it is the length, the diameter, spooled on Hard or Soft Tubes or Standard Salted hanks, we have the range and capacity to suit you.
